Sycamore's principals have over 20 years' experience in development and architecture, with a deep understanding of the financing structures necessary to build affordable housing where it is most needed. Sycamore Strategies LLC is Texas HUB-certified and has been part of 20 successful 9% Low-Income Housing Tax Credit applications across Texas since 2016.

Zachary Krochtengel
Mr. Krochtengel has leveraged his background in architecture, tax law and finance, to secure over $300 million in tax credit equity as both a consultant and developer. He has a Bachelor's of Architecture from Syracuse University, a J.D. from Villanova University and a Master's of Finance from the University of Edinburgh.

A registered Architect with more than 15 years' experience, Mr. Finn joined Sycamore in 2023, bringing a wealth of building and design expertise including housing, health care, community and higher education facilities. Mr. Finn has a Master's of Architecture from Cornell University and a Bachelor's of Architecture from Syracuse University.

Managing Member of Sycamore Strategies since 2016, Ms. Krochtengel works on all aspects of project development. Previously, she worked as a journalist covering national legal and policy developments. She holds a J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law and Bachelor's degree from the University of South Carolina.

Mr. Baker, a licensed attorney and affordable housing professional with more than 18 years of experience, joined Sycamore in 2025. Previously, he worked with the Houston and Dallas housing authorities and served as Executive Director of CitySquare Housing. He holds a J.D. from UNT Dallas College of Law and a Bachelor's from Sam Houston State University.
